Max Scherzer of the Mets buys $5.4 million Long Island home

Max Scherzer is hitting it out of the park with this newly purchased Long Island home.

Sources told The Post that Scherzer bought the property, located in Brookville, for less than its asking price, made up of five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

While the sale is currently pending, it is expected to close soon—for between $5.2 and $5.3 million, the insider said, with Scherzer and his wife, Erika, set to move in in 2023.

A Hamptons-inspired residence, it was last listed for $5.4 million.
